It was the series's 16th International Science and Technology Conference, with more than 60 attendees from 7 countries and 11 tertiary institutions. Altogether, 32 oral and 9 poster presentations were given. The first conference in the series was held in 1993, thus, a 30-year anniversary was also celebrated.
